Richard Morley, Director, Merchant Cash Express Ltd

Richard began his career as an Army Officer and in 1980 went into international banking. He has worked for a number of US banks in London, as General Manager and Senior Executive Officer. In 2003 he set up a small partnership which helped US companies move to the UK. It was during this time Richard discovered the business model that was to become Merchant Cash Express.

Ian began his working life with Barclays in 1983 and took his banking degree with the bank's graduate training scheme. He quickly moved into commercial lending in central London where most of his customers were independent operators in the hospitality sector. He has worked in business banking ever since and has developed considerable experience of the financial requirements of small and medium sized businesses. Ian is one of the founder members of Merchant Cash Express in the UK.

Ian particularly enjoys helping businesses to grow from scratch and finds it very rewarding at a time when it is so tough for businesses to raise cash, especially small businesses. The vast majority of our clients want to make a living and they are good at what they do. We are very pleased to help them be successful."
